What is a traverser?
A traverser is a device used to move an inkjet printhead across an object to be printed. We have Traversers that are operated by hand and models which can be used stand-alone or integrated into other equipment
Advantages of our traversers
- Electric Drive offers programmable acceleration and deceleration which will not cause problems with the printhead or conduit which can be experienced with pneumatic traverse systems
- Improved print quality due to smooth movement and the 'virtual encoder' function, on some models, which scales print during acceleration and deceleration
- Safety - low powered axes minimise the risk of injury
- Reduced running costs due to low current drives, substantially cheaper to run than pneumatic traverse devices
All non handheld units can be installed using either 25mm square or 32mm diameter rail systems. Brackets can be supplied to suit either rail type.
All systems are designed to be compatible with Domino A-Series or G-Series printers
